To All Youth:
Our Youth Ministries takes as our theme Acts 8:1,

“But you will receive power after the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will tells others about me in every place, even to the ends of the earth."

To The Parents:
Thank you for taking time to look into Youth Ministries. We are so excited to serve along side of you and challenge your teen to discover God in a real way. We would like to take a second and share what Youth Ministries is all about.

First, let us tell you that our staff and we consider it a privilege to serve our teenagers.

Second, we want to explain the organization of Youth Ministries. Our ministry is driven around five major purposes. These purposes are not only the goal for ministry, but also God’s mandate for each one of us as followers of Jesus Christ. The five purposes are:

Reach
To reach unbelieving students with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We do this in a variety of ways events, retreats, and every other Friday as students reach out to their friends and peers.

Connect
To connect students with other followers of Christ, and share life together.

Grow
We are here to help students grow to be like Jesus Christ. We know that we can’t force them, and nor would we. The goal is to get students to grow on their own, this way they are not dependant on Youth Ministries when they graduate from high school. We have set up disciplines and encourage them to create these spiritual disciplines and grow with God on their own daily.

Discover
This purpose challenges students to discover how God has wired them. As believers the scriptures are clear that He gives us all spiritual gifts. Most teens have no idea what this gift is. Through serving one another we discover how God has gifted us and wired us for serving Him.

Honor
This is the ultimate goal for all of us as believers. We must understand that God calls us all to reach unbelievers, connect with His church, grow individually in our relationship with Him, serve one another and use our gifts for His church, and live a daily lifestyle that honors Him. This is a journey and we are all seeking God together. We desperately desire to Honor God in all we do as a ministry, and with our lives.

We hope this gives you insight of how Youth Ministries is structured. Again we look forward to serving you and your teenager. We know that by working alongside one another, challenging teens to fall in love with God is what is most effective. We also want to offer you the opportunity to volunteer and be part of Youth Ministries.
