Faith Community Church began holding services officially on Sun April 10th, 2005 in my home in Canonsburg. This Church was planted as an act of obedience to the call of God. Over and over again in the book of Acts we see God calling men to an area to preach the Word of God and plant churches.

We knew that God was pressing on our hearts to plant a reproducing church that would have a passion to reach the community with the message of Faith. Our desire is to plant 2 more churches in the Pittsburgh area by 2013.

God opened the door in December of 2005 for us to begin meeting in the Iceoplex, we started with 19 dedicated people. God always uses a select few to start something big for His kingdom. We then moved to the Bailey Center and within a year out grew that facility. Then in November God began to give me the confidence to pray and share with others that he would give us a building. In May of 2008 we became one with Lakeside Community Church.

We are growing every week and God is allowing us to reach more and more people for His Glory!

We are committed to these three core essentials: Teaching, Worship, and Community.

If we teach the word of God accurately and without compromise, we will have the right worship, when we have accurate teaching and the right worship we will have the right community of believers that can reach the community around them with the message of faith.

It is an exciting time in our church as we see God drawing people with all different backgrounds and talents. So no matter where you are on your journey in finding or deepening your relationship with Jesus Christ there is a place for you here at Faith Community Church Lakeside.
